2026 season FAQs:

**Please be aware that some of this information is still a work in progress and is subject to change as we get closer to the season.**

Q: What days/times are games and practices?

A: Tee ball, Single A and AA divisions:

1 practice during the week (day and time will vary by team) and 1 game on Saturdays between 8:45am and 2pm. 

AAA and Majors divisions:
1 Practice per week and 2 games days and times are still TBD.

Q:  When will the game schedules and team assignments be posted?

A: Official game schedules and team assignments typically come out in late March.  You will receive an email from the league once they are posted.


Q: What equipment will my child need?

A: All players should have their own helmet and baseball glove.  We recommend players have their own baseball bat, however each team is provided with 1 bat to be shared by the team if needed.

Amesbury Little League will supply all players a team jersey and hat for all divisions. All players must wear long pants and either sneakers or cleats during games. Baseball pants are strongly recommended, but not required.


Q: When does the season begin?

A: Practices will begin once the fields are dry enough and ready to be used (typically the 2nd week of April).  Games begin the week of April 27th for the Majors Division, and AAA divisions and all other divisions on May 2nd following the opening day parade and ceremonies.


Q: When are player evaluations?

A:  Player evaluations will be on March 21st @ Maples Crossing from 9am-12pm.  Only players in the AA/AAA/Majors divisions need to attend.
